SURVEY. From the California State Coastal Conservancy Survey on October 13th, 2026. California State Coastal Conservancy. The Coastal Conservancy is a State agency established in 1976 to protect and improve natural lands and waterways, help people access and enjoy the outdoors, and sustain local economies along the length of California’s coast and around San Francisco Bay.

The California State Coastal Conservancy (SCC) launched the next phase of planning for the Pedro Point Headlands Coastal Trail in Pacifica, CA—an important step toward closing a longstanding gap in the California Coastal Trail, a 1,230-mile public trail system spanning from Oregon to Mexico. Currently in the Early Design Phase, SCC is aiming to gather local and broader interested perspectives and priorities.

This survey is expected to take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and
