Book Up to 7 Days in Advance
Plan ahead and reserve your Ride Plus trip up to seven days before you travel.
Call 650-238-5880 and a Ride Plus representative will help schedule your trip.
You can also book online at samtrans.com/RidePlus or through the SamTrans Ride Plus app.
Service changes include:
- Ride Plus-East Palo Alto: Palo Alto Transit Center will be added as a place to start or end a trip so riders will be able to connect to Caltrain, SamTrans, Dumbarton Express, Marguerite and VTA. Ride Plus will not stop between the transit center and East Palo Alto.
- Ride Plus-Half Moon Bay: Moss Beach and Montara will be added to the service area, and service will now begin at 7 a.m. daily.
- Route EPX: Will provide a faster, more direct connection between East Palo Alto and the Redwood City Transit Center. The route will no longer serve stops at Chilco Street and Hamilton Avenue, Florence Street and 17th Avenue, Bay Road and Eighth Avenue, Bay Road and Warrington Avenue, or Broadway and Maple Street. Riders can connect to Route EPX using routes 276, 281 or Ride Plus.
- Route 30: Will no longer serve Orange, Hoffman and Chester streets. The change will provide faster trips to and from Pollicita Middle School and John F. Kennedy Elementary School. Riders traveling to or from John F. Kennedy Elementary who currently use stops on these streets should instead use the stop at E. Market Street and Wyandotte Avenue.
- Route CSM: Will operate on weekdays only. Beginning Aug. 2, weekend riders should use Route 250. On weekdays, Route CSM will no longer serve Alameda de las Pulgas, Parrott Drive, W. Fifth Avenue, Dartmouth Road or W. Fourth Avenue. Instead, buses will operate along El Camino Real and continue on state Highway 92, providing faster trips and improved connections to Route ECR.
For updated schedules and trip planning, visit samtrans.com/scheduleupdates or call 800-660-4287 (TTY 650-508-6448).
SamTrans adjusts its schedules quarterly to reflect changing community needs and improve service. The next schedule update is planned for November 2026.

I just signed up and tried to use the online booking site. I tried to book a ride from my Montara home to a restaurant in HMB departing 10:20AM
It would not accept the input, saying no rides available and they must be within the 7am-5pm operating window. Which they are.
Further, I/we cannot go to Pacifica, which is closer for Montara residents.
So, it would be nice to have such service, but it isn’t working as described.
