Some things hold still long enough to be painted. Others dissolve before you can reach them.
The work in this exhibition lives between those two truths, between what can be documented and what can only be felt, between what the land keeps and what memory keeps.
These artists work in watercolor and mixed media, in encaustic and acrylic, in photography and fiber, in gemstone and botanically dyed cloth.
What connects them is not medium but attention, a sustained looking at what remains when everything else has passed.
