PRESS RELEASE. From Dignity Health Sequoia Group on May 31st, 2025.

The Urgent Care Pilot Program in Half Moon Bay, funded by the County of San Mateo ended, as planned, on May 31, 2025. This successful pilot program provided valuable insights that will help us improve and expand same-day care options for the community in the near future.

We’re pleased to continue offering walk-in and same-day care for low-severity urgent care patients, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., just as we did during the pilot program. We are working diligently to extend these hours as quickly as possible.

Our team is available to assist Health Plan of San Mateo members who need to be assigned to a Dignity Health Medical Group – Sequoia primary care provider. This will allow us to continue providing care without disruption.

Our clinic will continue to see established patients of Dignity Health Medical Group – Sequoia, including adults and children over 14 years of age. This includes patients with PPO plans, Medicare, and Health Plan of San Mateo.

Patients without insurance, or with out-of-network coverage, will be required to pay out-of-pocket for services.

  • Our staff are available to help connect patients without insurance to the Health Coverage Unit at San Mateo County Health who can help determine if they are eligible for available health coverage programs.
