“The Pumpkin Bots competed in the First Robotics Competition’s East Bay Regional Tournament recently and their alliance placed 2nd overall in the finals!
They competed against 55 of the best teams in the world and made it into the semi-finals on the 2nd place alliance team.
Their team’s alliance then made it through all of the semi-final matches and advanced to the finals (best of three matches) where they ultimately lost to the #1 ranked alliance.
This was a huge achievement for the Pumpkin Bots team.
They have nine team members this year and were competing against some other teams that have over seventy students on their teams.
Many other teams came over to admire the design of the Pumpkin Bots robot and noted how well they executed throughout the entire tournament. The team put in a huge effort over this past year to get to this point.
The team was invited to another competition called the Northern California Invitational, which is being held in Richmond, CA on May 16-18th.”
2025 Playoff Match 13 (R5) – East Bay Regional: Lower Bracket, Round 5, Match 13 = WIN!
On to the Finals.
