Puente is proud to launch the Housing Justice Storytelling video project. Highlighting the personal stories of local farmworkers in Pescadero and underscores our shared responsibility to advocate for affordable, safe, and dignified housing for those who feed us through a lifetime of physical labor.
This poignant and powerful video is the outcome of a 3-month long collaborative process involving courageous community members, videographers, and Puente. This project was generously supported and funded by All Home California, a prominent nonprofit organization whose work encompasses all nine Bay Area counties by adopting a regional approach to address homelessness issues in individual jurisdictions, including San Mateo County.
We thank All Home California for bringing to light the challenges that farmworker communities face on the South Coast.
