Our summer camp is back! This summer we’re offering three 3-Day camps: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 11am-12pm. (Maximum 4 kids per camp).

The skateboard camp is open to all levels, (ages 5-12), and can be one to four kids, (depending on who signs up).

We start with “falling practice,” and gauge each skater’s ability. The first day we will start skateboarding right away, so each skater should have a helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads. (If you don’t have one of these items, please reach out to Tristan and he will have some for you). Skateboards are available to borrow if any skater needs one.

The 3-day skateboarding camp is designed to teach fundamental skills, etiquette, and safety in a fun and supportive environment. Our camp emphasizes the importance of safety, respect, and enjoying the thrill of skateboarding outdoors!

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to Fall: Mastering safe techniques to prevent injuries.
  • Stance: Finding your balance and perfecting your form.
  • Pushing: Building momentum and gaining confidence on your board.
  • Turning: Navigating corners and controlling your direction.
  • Stopping: Essential methods for coming to a safe stop.

And much more!

Why Choose Our Camp?

  • Expert Instruction: Learn from experienced skateboarders who are passionate about teaching.
  • Inclusive Environment: All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to intermediate skaters.
  • Community Focused: Build friendships and connect with fellow skaters from the Coastside community.

Inspired by Michael Kershnar, (artist for brands and bands like Element, Volcolm, The Beastie Boys and The Grateful Dead). I wanted to supply skateboards for kids to showcase their art on. He has hosted excellent art classes for years now. But I thought, why stop at paining? At our workshops, after painting, we teach the artists how to build a skateboard, and give tips on how to start skateboarding.

With a foundation of art and building, our workshops and lessons are designed to build skateboards in a hands-on, immersed experience.

Class Total: $210.00
Registration fee: $60.00
Material Fee: To be paid to instructor
$150.00 (for complete skateboard)

*There is no actual skateboarding involved in these workshops*
