Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

CALTRANS RESPONSE. Supervisor Mueller’s office reached out to CalTrans asking for a service request for the repair at the Coastal Trail by Surfers Beach

“We are aware of this damage.

There is an approved director’s order to repair this damage, but, before we can proceed, we are waiting for environmental clearance and authorization from the:

  • Army Corps
  • Waterboard
  • National Marine Fisheries Service (fish species)
  • National Marine Sanctuary

It’s anticipated that approvals will be obtained in May 2024, hopefully sooner.”
