Half Moon Bay Review and Pacifica Tribune Start Evolving to Digital

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

UPDATE. From Debby MacKimmie on Nextdoor on February 1st, 2024.

“I just spoke to a very nice woman at the Half Moon Bay Review. They are *not producing a paper this week at all, not paper, not digital. There’s no information about this on their website. She indicated that the transition has been very difficult. She said they anticipate putting out the last paper newspaper next week. Hopefully, after that, they will at least have the digital version that they proposed to have. This is a very sad turn of events.”

*CORRECTION. There was no newspaper printed and there was no E-Edition, which is a facsimile of the newspaper, posted to either news website.

CNGI Board member Peter Loeb pointed out that there were several digital stories posted independently to both websites. Thank you Peter.

  1. The Half Moon Bay Review is alive and well but going digital. Before and after our last print run next week, we continue producing quality local journalism at our web site and in our electronic newsletters. You can go to hmbreview.com to subscribe. There is even a free option. This kind of transition is difficult for those of us with ink running in our veins, but it was time… — Rich Klein, CEO, Coastside News Group.

    1. Thanks for clarifying, Rich.
