Aug 2, 2022 Community partnerships are essential for increasing the pace and scale of much needed fuels reduction treatments throughout California. A CAL FIRE Forest Health grant allows San Mateo Resource Conservation District to pool the resources, knowledge base and support of local landowners; Camp Butano Creek and Butano State Park to improve the health of the forest; create safe evacuation routes for residents; and provide for the enjoyment of future generations of Girl Scouts.
