The Smoke Point App Smoke Point is a mobile app that helps firefighters find the location of a new fire start, in order to keep the small fires small more of the time.

It does this by using information contributed by the public and information gathered by firefighters in the field to triangulate the locations of fires.

Gabe will explain the use and value of the App, and how to get accurate useful readings on the location of smoke columns / plumes that may be fire started by lightning strikes or other causes.
