PRESS RELEASE. City of Half Moon Bay’s ordinance regulating disposable knives and forks and so on goes into effect on July 9th, 2021.
Restaurants in the city will only give you disposable foodware if you ask for it after that date.
The law mimics a countywide ordinance in many ways and seeks to cut the amount of trash going to landfills and stop plastic from winding up in local waterways.
