Local realtor Cid Young, and MCC regular, updates council on the status of San Mateo County’s Tree Ordinance whose update has been in limbo for many years.

It’s has been brought to the Supervisor’s attention; several times since last year’s fires.

“If the County does not update its Tree Ordinance, then we really can’t do anything.”

Cid suggests we start writing letters to the Supervisors.

  1. Everything in Government takes a long time, and the politicians chase the “shiny objects” (Like developing The Devil’s Slide Trail or Tunitas Creek Beach) and so, they tend to move the tedious stuff to the back burner!
