VIDEO. City of Half Moon Bay Planning Department Meeting for 9/8/2020 @ 7:00pm by ZOOM.
I have been watching the Planning Commission and City of Half Moon Bay Staff work through amazingly complicated and intricate issues to come up with a land use plan for the City of Half Moon Bay (not midcoast) that will guide us 20+ years. The intelligence, commitment and professionalism is truly inspiring. I also learned a lot. No one scrimpted on thought or time. Meetings during this time were often 3-4 hours long, with no impatience and consistent desire to listen to the public.  Just want to say thank you for your service.

A resolution was adopted recommending the 2020 Final Draft Local Coastal Land Use Plan Update, as recommended, to be revised pursuant to Attachment 2 to this staff report, to the Half Moon Bay City Council for approval and adoption.

HMB Planning Commissioner, Sara Polgar, is Construction Manager for RCD’s (Resource Conservation Corp) the Dark Gulch Construction Project. Somewhere in hour three, they discuss large construction projects and mitigation for such projects. Her experience and point of view help educate the process.
