The Cabrillo Unified School District is located just south of San Francisco on the beautiful Pacific Coast. The District was established on July 1, 1965 and encompasses an area of approximately 135 square miles. The District currently operates four elementary schools, one intermediate school, one high school, a continuation school, and an adult education program.
The mission of the Cabrillo Unified School District – an exemplary learning community committed to valuing our distinct cultural identities – is to develop critical thinkers and socially responsible citizens who actively participate in their individual learning and development and are fully prepared to embrace their next challenge. Meeting Dates: The Governing Board meets in regular session on the second Thursday of each month with some exceptions due to district/school schedule and holidays.Meeting Times: The Governing Board meets in closed session from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The regular session, open to the public, begins at 7:00 pm.
Meeting Location: Meetings are typically held in the Board Room at the District Office, 498 Kelly Avenue, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019 (unless otherwise noted on the agenda).
Agendas for Regular Board Meetings are posted at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.The Board welcomes and encourages parents/guardians, staff, students, and community members to express their views on issues under the jurisdiction of the Governing Board. If you wish to participate in the Board meeting and you require special accommodations (Spanish interpretation, accessible seating, documentation in an accessible format, etc.) please contact the Assistant to the Superintendent at (650) 712-7112 no later than 48 hours preceding the meeting.
