This year’s election is the first time 2 seats are elected by-division following the District’s transition from an at-large to a division-based election system.
Electoral Divisions’ 2 and 4 seats will be elected.
Directors Kathryn Slater Carter’s and Scott Boyd’s at-large seats end 2024.
OPEN At-Large: Carslyle Ann “Cid” Young’s At-large Appointment for Director Lohman’s Seat Term Ends 2024. This At-large seat is OPEN for 2 for Years; Term Ends 2026.

The Elections Division will be holding Candidate Filing Seminars for the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election. These seminars will cover important topics such as filing deadlines, filing forms, candidate statements, campaign finance reports, and voter data.

Regular meetings are 7:30pm on the first and third Thursday of each month. They used to held at the District office at 8888 Cabrillo Hwy, next to Pt Montara Lighthouse and Hostel.

Services
Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside (SAM) – MWSD is a member of SAM, the agency that collects and cleans our Coastside community’s wastewater before it enters the ocean. SAM meets monthly on the 4th Monday at 7:30pm. Jim Harvey and Scott Boyd presently serve as SAM board members.
Recology of the Coast – MWSD has contracted with Recology of the Coast for trash pickup, recycling, and waste hauling.
Visit County Solid Waste Department for more information about recycling, composting, etc.
