Run for Senior Coastsiders at the 46th Annual Pumpkin Run 2024 Fundraiser

The Pumpkin Run, a tradition in Half Moon Bay for over four decades, treats participants along the beautiful Coastal Trail overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

All proceeds benefit Senior Coastsiders, a local non-profit dedicated to providing opportunities, support, and resources for older adults living on the coast from Montara to Pescadero and Skyline to the Sea.
As always, we’ll have a fun race for kids and everyone will go home with a pumpkin!
Can’t make it on October 20th?
No problem, we also have virtual run options!
All virtual registrations must be completed no later than midnight, September 27th in order to obtain race packet before October 20th! There are no guarantees that your packet will arrive in time prior to October 20th if you register after September 27th.

The start/finish line is located at the Hatch Elementary School parking lot.
- 6:15 AM – Bib, t-shirt, and pumpkin pick-up opens
- 7:15 AM – Half Marathon Start*
- 7:55 AM – Kid’s Fun Run
- 8:10 AM – 10K Run/Walk Start
- 8:15 AM – 5K Run/Walk Start
*Half Marathon has a 3.5 hour cut off
NOTE: The Start Line will close 5 minutes after the start of the 1/2 marathon and 5 minutes after the 5k distance start. Please be at the start line for the distance you are running or walking with your bib pinned on the front of your most visible layer of clothing. We can not guarantee the proper course support to anyone who does not start the race on time.
