The Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay Foundation announces our annual 2024 “Magic of the Coastside” Fundraiser and Lobsterfest at the I.D.E.S. Hall at 735 Main Street in Half Moon Bay!

It is a night of fun, food and entertainment and a time to honor Coastside nonprofit organizations serving our community.

1. The fabulous Lobsterfest, catered by the New England Lobster Company

2. A pay-as-you-go bar.

3. Music by the Irish band Claddagh

4. A silent auction

We are raising funds for two great causes this year:

1. The Boys and Girls Club of Half Moon Bay has requested funds to pay for 80 low income elementary school children to attend “break camps” during Thanksgiving, Presidents Week and Spring Break where they will study STEM subjects as well as engage in traditional sports, art and take field trips to explore their community.

2. Sea Hugger, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and healing the marine environment from plastic pollution, has requested funds to enhance their capabilities in beach clean up through the use of innovative tools and equipment.

Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues:  peace and conflict prevention/resolution; disease prevention and treatment; water and sanitation; maternal and child health; basic education and literacy; economic and community development.
